EVENT DESCRIPTION
The U.S. Army will be once again executing a 5 Tour, 29+ week series of events known as the Strength in Action Tour. There will be multiple activities including a rock climbing wall, an aerial simulator, athletic contests and more!!! All in an effort to promote youth leading a healthy, active lifestyle, and being "Army Strong!"

UNIFORM
• Khaki pants or khaki shorts ONLY
– All shorts need to be knee length – NOTHING shorter
– Pants must fit correctly. Please DO NOT wear pants/shorts that are larger than your size
• You will be provided with a branded t-shirt onsite
– If it is cold, you may wear a BLACK non branded long sleeved shirt under your branded t-shirt. You may not wear your own jacket
– If additional layers are needed, you will be provided with a jacket or fleece onsite

A White Lie is a drama driven forward by character development, set in the bodybuilding & fitness world; focusing on two brothers who reconnect and try to reconcile, while trying to take responsibility in their lives and move on.

This project is allowing both Union & Non-Union to audition (Non-Union is preferred). SBFilms is looking to cast its film early as a tool to help move forward into fundraising to raise a budget. Shooting is aimed for early 2012 and will be spread out in three separate time blocks over the year, due to its physical demands on the cast & schedule. The timeline of the story takes place over the course of one year, during the off season and pre-competitive season for bodybuilding.

GARRETT - 23 Caucasian Male (20-25 age range) - 5'8' - 6'5' - Bodybuilder (ideal-light heavyweight but not mandatory) - Main character in the film who has grew up in a abusive environment. He is introverted because of this and has trouble showing his feelings. The film chronicles not only his bodybuilding journey, but also his emotional journey to taking responsibility with his life.

TEENAGER - MALE (18-21 age range) - A closeted and talented dancer that pursues putting on muscle and ends up being trained by Garrett. Sheepish, quiet, and outspoken at times with attitude. Dancers strongly encouraged to audition.

EVAN - MALE (18-21 age range) - A natural bodybuilder on the breaking point of using drugs to propel his career. He is part of the internet generation, addicted to the idea of fame and fans. He has established his own web series showcasing his bodybuilding and advice, however most of it comes across a bit silly/incorrect. He plays into being a jock, a bro, jersey shore.

BILL - MALE (20-30 age range) - Helen's ex boyfriend/close friend - who is a straight bartender working at a gay club where Pearce works. He is someone charming, suave, and resourceful, as well as supportive. He uses his physical appearance/good looks to his benefit making stronger tips at a gay establishment.
6. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
RYAN - MALE (25-35 age range) - Competitive bodybuilder and personal trainer who once was natural and now abuses roids. He is Garrett's co-worker and at one point his trainer/friend. Ryan is the cliche/stereotype to the bodybuilding world, meathead, homophobic, womanizer, smart mouthed, ego driven. Although there are moments where his facade breaks down and a more personal/honest individual appears.

JACK - 21 Male (18-25 age range) - Pearce's boyfriend who also helps out Garrett with creating a professional website for his personal training/bodybuilding. Jack is still in college, and would be someone who most likely won prom king/homecoming king in high school. He has a strong sense of humor, winning smile, and great natural way in how he approaches people and life.

MOTHER - Early 40's Caucasian Female - She is the mother to Garrett & Pearce. She is a verbally abusive and controlling alcoholic person that manipulates Garrett (and disowned Pearce) into still living at home with her. She is someone who never grew up and only knows how to barely manage to get by alone.

MILES - 50's Caucasian Male - The Main Antagonist, he is a unstable, psychopathic, disillusioned, obsessive individual who has a fixation on male bodybuilders and exploiting them. He passes through life undetected thanks to his glossing charm. Average looking.

HELEN - 24 Female (20-25 age range) - Garrett's girlfriend. She is introduced on their first date at the start of the film and we see their relationship develop over the course of a year. Helen is a dancer (experienced dancers in ballet/contemporary/modern dance encouraged), who is a strong willed and independent woman who runs her own dance studio.
